Job Overview

The Lead Data Architect is a key role that will transform the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) team from a functional one, where we process data, to a technical one, where we redesign and/or update the Oracle e-Business Suite to reflect stakeholder needs.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, maintains and administers the Oracle database environments; works with multiple large clustered and non-clustered environments
• Works with ERP Human Resources and Financial Management Solutions teams to provide technical guidance during all phases of application and database-related development process, integrations, deployment, and operation
• Works with Oracle and interoperable systems in evaluating and implementing new technologies or features
• Creates data models that conform to existing standards and conventions

Qualifications

Below are the minimum qualifications for this job. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are also acceptable.

Education Bachelor’s degree in a technology field

Experience

• Eight years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), database setup, application management, and administration
• Extensive Oracle e-Business Suite or ERP Cloud experience
• Extensive experience in system integrations, Cloud integration, and data conversion
• Experience in programing languages, operating systems, and tools including but not limited to Oracle Forms, PL/SQL, SQL, Java, and Unix Experience in the implementation of large enterprise applications related to finance, HR, recruiting, and budgeting and integrating such applications with third party software and services
• Experience with data management and data processing flowcharting techniques

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
• Knowledge of cloud environments including but not limited to analytics, configurations, and integrations
• Knowledge of Agile development methodology and concepts, or similar methodology
• Knowledge of reporting and query tools including Oracle BI Publisher (BIP), Oracle XML Publisher, and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), and Dashboards
• Ability to solve problems using a creative and logical mindset
• Technical documentation skills
• Ability to work in a self-motivated and self-directed manner, with keen attention to details 
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment 
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Salary Range: $96,888 - $155,454
